I know, I know, I know he's so much older he was finishing university before I was born, he was such a symbol of the previous government's hypocrisy that I danced and cheered at the moment he lost his seat in 1997, and yes, I also know his sexual preferences lie in a somewhat different direction to mine,er my sex even. That's why it's so deeply shameful. I just would. Must be the power thing.
I'm too ashamed to even write his name.

ReplyDeleteHon...I hate everything his party (at the time) stood for, but seeing him in debate was truly something else ... he's one of the most articulate and convincing politicians produced by the second half of the 20th century...

I have to admit he gained a certain charm once he gave up the hunt for power and came to realise that the sun did not shine out of his nether regions. Still not exactly my type though ;^)
