Having had the swine flu - viral pneumonia - pleurisy - now 'ill' 4 weeks post flu I have every empathy with you.

I agree with Veronica completely - rest rest rest x 100.

I can't take any nsaid (affects my heart rate ha ha - me laughing at that bearing in mind my current heart rate - along with other boring stuff) Had the most peculiar reaction to Oxycontin so banned from that by alarmed doctor. I also this week had pain meds upped so somewhat oramorphed out won't bore with the rest of the plethora of meds. I managed to persuade gp not to send me to hospital for overnight obs - as don't want any more germs near me. I only really meant to post sincerely hoping you do NOT end up in A&E and that you improve very very soon.

Perhaps our gp's should compare notes post piggy flu & EDS although thinking on that that would probably just confuse more. Ill is such a correct diagnosis!

Anyway I am off as I am somewhat medicated and therefore very chatty - so apologies.

Take BG am thinking of you. xoxoxoxAcheloishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13489197508242501952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34940564.post-70201849725643588292009-11-03T23:21:55.647+00:002009-11-03T23:21:55.647+00:00It's good to hear of such a good and sensible ...It's good to hear of such a good and sensible working relationship between youself, the practice nurse and the GP...this is the sort of thing the NHS is supposed to excel at, and yet, if you believe all the press reports, so often doesn't...

I wonder how many headline "NHS failings" are actually hyped up by the media from much smaller fubars...(after all we're all human and fallible) ...or concocted by would-be complainants under our sick compensation culture?

I'm a male approaching 60 - In all my (I suppose, typically limited) dealings with the NHS, (including not just my own visits, but referrals re my missus and the five kids) we've always, all, been treated brilliantly, and certainly I've never had the slightest cause to complain...but of course that's not a story so the media aren't interested...cogidubnushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03542717738481600745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34940564.post-67871505210276186362009-11-03T22:40:30.216+00:002009-11-03T22:40:30.216+00:00Oh my, do take care of yourself! But more often than not care by the staff helps time after time even with no money or resourses. Glad your GP is continuing the tradition of care you need.
xxFire Byrdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05477692359400671374noreply@blogger.com
