Clumsiness is...

…..kicking wet cat food all over the floor as you fall backwards over the cat…then opening the cupboard under the sink to get cleaning products…knocking half of the cupboards content’s all over the floor, smashing a bottle in the process…then banging your head on the way back up!

All shortly before you slip on the floor you’ve just attempted to wipe, then realise you’ve burnt your inner thighs. With a bowl of soup you didn’t realise was hot as you balanced it there.

  1. Oooooh, yes, sympathy and understanding. I do not have anything like the problems you have, and have been lucky enough not to scald myself.

    So far.

  3. What's the situation with the house selling? With a bit of luck it won't be sold for ages with the current down turn in the economic climate!

  6. That wasn't clumsiness, I think this smacks of a conspiracy!

Hoping that you are not too badly injured from this catalogue of ill-luck.

  7. Oh goodness. I can totally sympathise. Way too much.

Hope the burns were minor and heal quickly and the bump on the head doesn't smart for too long.

  11. I can sympathise with you.. my usual trick is to take things out of the oven with cloth then put them down, only seconds later tryiong to pick the hot items up again with bare hands... alas I no longer own finger prints..

  13. Let me guess...you were imitating a Three Stooges routine and it went awry? ;-)

Glad you're okay though, and I know the feeling. It's the kind of domino effect that just screws up your day.

  14. Mr Nighttime has it right. It's a domino effect leaving you feeling like a comedy routine! Normally, bloody hormones are to blame.
