I wouldn't like to think of cats being used as guinea pigs. We can only hope they tested this on humans first.

I read about this in the paper and was delighted to see that Oscar has not only been saved but that he can now get on with the rest of his life with no problems in jumping and running.

I feel that those that think it's a waste of money are only jealous of the fact that his owner can afford to have it done, and I take my hat off to the Vet that did an excellent job saving a lovely puss and giving him back his life.

Hopefully this pioneering surgery will help surgeons for the future and hopefully grant a whole new lease on life for many many more animals and people alike.

  4. Lovely story!

It reminds me of the Boursin ad...

Thankfully, Oscar had a happier outcome.

The vet's name sounds decidedly Irish?
