You're not wrong! Just be careful and wear lots of sun-cream.
I made a misjudgement with my suncream the other day. I slopped it all over my arms, legs, shoulders, neck, and the top of my chest (ie from my neck, to the line of the top I was wearing). And I thought all was well.
That evening I realised I hadn't accounted for cleavage. So the bit of skin directly between my boobs, which I hadn't suncreamed because it appeared to be below the neckline of my top when viewed in the mirror - was exposed to the sun from above, because my top was held away from my breastbone by my boobs.
So now I have a nice pale-gold beginning of a tan, spoilt by a bright red patch in the middle of my chest. Dammit.
Still, advantage to chronic pain, pre-illness I'd have been more bothered about sunburn hurting, than looking silly.
