Spring?

I made it out of the house today! A cause for celebration, even if it was just to the supermarket. I'm halfway through my second course of antibiotics and unfortunately still feeling pretty lousy. As it's exactly a year ago today that I gave up smoking (I know cannabis counts, but it's still a year since I quit all tobacco products) I'm a little disappointed the only effect it's had has been on my waistline. Even if that did initially need it.

It's likely to be a little longer before I get back to blogging regularly but for now here are the photos I stopped to take on the way home from the supermarket. As it was so bright I couldn't even see the screen of my mobile phone and had to just point, click and hope for the best, I'm quite pleased with the result. Hope you enjoy them.

BG - good to see you're still alive...well sort of ;-)

Amazing quality pics from a phone. I'd say the fresh air did your lungs more good than anything.

Well done for staying off the fags! I hope you're using the money saved to treat yourself to something else?

A year off the fags? Well done...I packed up at age 48 after 35 years on the dreaded weed, and hit the sixth anniversary in June...

Love your view on the way back from the supermarket...

Glad to hear you're feeling at least a little better...Heard from Wetherspoons yet?

Vi: it is gorgeous. I'm very lucky to live where I do

Cas: TY. It was good to be out, even if it was mainly the supermarket ;)

Steph: TY, I was astonished as I literally couldn't see anything, so I just took lots and hoped for the best...only a couple had my fingers in them!
The fresh air was lovely, but lasted around 2 minutes I reckon! it might look gorgeous in the photos, but it was so windy I could barely stand up

Cogi: TY, and congrats to you too. It is a great view, though not directly my way home, mind you it's such a small town it wouldn't make that much difference!
I have had a letter from both wetherspoons and the licensing authority, but just to say they acknowledge my letter of complaint and are investigating blah blah. I think I may follow up with a phone call once my voice returns properly.

phew..I was starting to get a tad worried about you..

take it easy bendy girl...

cheers kim and a quick (((hug)))

Kim: I'm ok, still worn out, but taking it easy, I'm blogging from bed! I don't think you could see the last post I did which was to say I was ok and getting more antibiotics...I wonder why it didn't show for you? Hmm. Hugs x

I love the photos. I love being able to take photos with phones. It makes it fun to be out and about.

Marla: TY, I love the phone photo thing too, so much so that I chose my phone because it had a good camera on it...I hate the phone, can't use it properly, but damn that camera's good! BG
